How it began…
Hi everyone, I’m Jeevan 😊 You may have seen me in Shropshire over the past 15 years in a totally different setting – the health sector! In 2021 I decided to follow my long time passion – gifting! I’ve made and given gift hampers since I was a little girl, but due to one thing or the other, I never really thought about creating a business out of it, until now! Whenever my son, Aryan (now four) would refuse to try something new, I would tell him “Aryan, If you don’t try, you won’t know”. This is my thought process behind the birth of Elite Hampers – if I didn’t just try and put myself out there and follow my passion, I would never know what I could achieve – I’M SO GLAD I DID!
One evening, I registered my business. The rest is history!
Elite Hampers…
I wanted to create a gifting business that provided high quality products with excellent customer service. I wanted to do this without loosing the friendly and personable approach that I love when talking to people. From the feedback I’ve received from customers so far, I feel I am heading in the right direction! 😄 Elite Hampers continues to grow and is attracting people from both the corporate world as well as individuals. I’m thoroughly enjoying working with local businesses, helping create hampers for their staff and clients. If you are sending a hamper locally in Telford, you may occasionally see me as your courier driver! 🚠I do this as I still enjoy seeing peoples faces when they receive a gift. When I get to share these moments through Elite Hampers, it makes me feel that all the hard work is worth it!
What else do I do?
I’m an Optometrist: This was my main occupation until that day I registered Elite Hampers. I still help in the local community as a locum, and still enjoy helping and talking with patients. I am so grateful to have been able to help and support so many people in the community since qualifying in 2009 ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
Mummy to Aryan: If you have children, then you know this is a full time job in itself! He’s brilliant! He keeps me active and very child like – I love it! He joins Elite Hampers on local events and festivals, and generally attracts more attention than the stalls 😠👩👦
A volunteer for a support line: I love being able to support others in times they need someone the most. This role is extremely rewarding, and allows me to value the importance of a good support network and mental health resources 😌 📞
The creative mind behind Elite Hampers: I am loving this! Since starting business, I have picked up so many new skills and am still learning! I spend hours researching and thinking about what I want to create next, which companies I want to work with, and most importantly, how I want my business to serve others and spread joy through gifting 🎠😊
