Partnering with reliable suppliers is essential for us. This is why in this blog we are focussing on one of our top suppliers – Popcorn Kitchen.
The Popcorn Kitchen business started its journey in 2012 popping corn at local food festivals in Surrey. It remains a small, independent company run by Louise and her team.
1. The Environment
We are working towards being carbon neutral and reducing our overall carbon foorprint. In order for us to achieve this, it is important that we try and use suppliers with similar values within the UK. Did you know, in 2024 Popcorn Kitchen became a Certified B Corporation? This certification shows that Popcorn Kitchen meets high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability – we think this is brilliant!
2. Putting Customers First
At Popcorn Kitchen their customer service is their number one KPI (key performance indicator) focus. This aligns with one of our top brand values which is providing excellent customer service. We are always looking to deliver our customers the best products and ensuring that our customers have the best gifting experience with us. Did you know, we are finalists for the National Business Women’s Awards that will be held later this October, in the Service Excellence category?
3. Quality over Quantity
Just like Popcorn Kitchen, we focus more on quality than quantity and offer products that align with our brand which represents quality, honesty and transparency. Being focused on quality has lead Popcorn Kitchen to continue making their original (and very delicious) popcorn in their traditional small batches. When preparing hampers we do not compromise on quality all the way from an initial enquiry to delivery.
4. Award-Winning
Getting recognition for the work and efforts put into creating a brand with high values isn’t easy. In todays ‘heavy media’ world it takes a lot to stand out. Here at Elite Hampers we strive for the best and by being an award-winning business, we are recognised for the efforts we put into ensuring our hampers provide the best for our customers.
5. Relationships
Simply put, we are all people in business with various personalities, standards and values. It is much easier to build long lasting and strong relationships with suppliers that share these with you and your brand. We first met Louise at a trade fair, just after we launched Elite Hampers. She is just as helpful, kind and responsive now, as she was back then. We share similar values and this allows us to work well together.
